BLAST Technique

clear emotional trauma and emotional blocks

Is emotional trauma from your past still affecting your life? Using the BLAST Technique® you can re-programme negative emotions from past events and so resolve them. If you are suffering from the effects of a serious trauma, such as assault, abuse or PTSD, a BLAST session can help. If issues such as anxiety, phobias or addictions are troubling you, the BLAST Technique can help you release and resolve them.

The process is very gentle and uses a light pen and eye movement to release the trauma while you picture the event in your mind. Most single layer trauma can be released in just one session. More complex multi-layer issues may require up to 4 sessions. It is suitable for both adults and children.

If you would like a FREE consultation to see whether Blast would be appropriate for you, please text me on 07913405007.

How can the BLAST Technique help you?

The BLAST Technique® has helped to resolve PTSD and trauma from:

  • Sexual assaults, child abuse, relationship abuse,
  • Physical assaults, robbery and mugging,
  • Terrorist attacks,
  • Natural disasters,
  • Diagnosis with life-threatening illness.

In addition to PTSD and severe trauma, the BLAST Technique® has also been effective in treating a host of other conditions including:

release PTSD, emotional trauma
  • Anxiety and general anxiety disorder,
  • Depression,
  • Postnatal depression,
  • Traumatic birth,
  • Addictions and cravings
  • Phobias,
  • Allergies,
  • Intimidation from bullying,
  • Jealousy,
  • Anger and rage,
  • Guilt,
  • Shame,
  • Insomnia,
  • Bereavement and grief,
  • Relationship breakups

The BLAST Technique can also help you to uncover and resolve the root cause of negative feelings or emotions.

Often people don’t understand why they have had years of illness, fatigue or depression. Or they don’t realise the reason for their aggressive outbursts or addictive behaviours. Often if they have experienced past trauma – emotional, mental or physical – this may be at the root of the condition. All of the following behaviours may stem from past trauma. By getting to the root of the trauma and reprocessing it and releasing it with Blast, many long term conditions may be resolved.

Can you have BLAST remotely?

A BLAST session is also effective over Skype, Zoom or similar.

How does the BLAST Technique work?

Neuroscience research shows that in sufferers of PTSD and trauma structures in the right hemisphere of the brain are overactive. So they are still acting as if there is an immediate threat . The BLAST Technique® utilises precise bi-lateral movements with a light pen. This helps the memory access the left, more logical hemisphere of the brain. The process also involves specific suggestions to the client which help reprocess the traumatic event. So they understand what happened and can remember, but it no longer has any physical or emotional response.

Psychotherapist Nick Davies created The BLAST Technique® 12 years ago in order to speed up the treatment of PTSD and trauma. He wanted to make it more effective so as to create an all-round better and more efficient experience for the client.

The BLAST Technique® draws from some of the research of neuroscientist and neuropsychologists Joseph LeDoux, Peter Naish and Ksenja da Silva. It utilises several treatment modalities to create what BLAST practitioners and clients believe is the fastest, most effective treatment for PTSD, a chronic, but curable condition.

The cost of a session of the BLAST Technique

One session of Blast is £65. One session is often enough to reprocess the emotions from a single layer trauma. In more complex cases, several sessions may be required.
